Born and raised in Sintra, PT, Tatanka is playing the guitar since he was 7. Playing in many bands and projects, he also started to develop his singer and songwriter skills. By 2010 he co-founded THE BLACK MAMBA together with Miguel Casais, the following year their agenda was filled with no less than 260 concerts including big festivals in Brazil and the USA.
In 2021, after winning the Festival da Canção, THE BLACK MAMBA represented Portugal on Eurovision Song Contest with the song “Love Is On My Side” ! And this is only the beginning…
